We are delighted to offer this Model Y Long range AWD finished in Solid Black supplied by Tesla to a private lady owner. All I can say is wow what a delight to drive. I collected this car from the previous owner based in Scotland, and the experience driving it back to Congleton and over 250 miles was effortless. There was range in the vehicle when I arrived and after adjusting the car to my required settings, setting up Spotify, Mobile Phone Connection and finally the Satellite Navigation. This car told me how long it would take to get back including a stop calculated at Tebay services where around 20 Tesla Superchargers were on hand for my arrival with a pre conditioned battery all completed by the computer onboard. The Tesla app was already downloaded to my mobile, although my card had not yet been added, but simply parked up, opened the hatch and took the supercharger and plugged in. It then proceeded at a great speed to charge up the required amount needed for the remainder of the journey, a visit to the rest room, stretch of my legs, had my apple and sandwich and headed back to the car which was due to finish in 4 minutes, and it did. I unplugged and then saw a message telling me Supercharging had stopped, and needed to add my card details to the app and make payment, did this £18.80 for 47kWk of Electric (40p per kWh) which is fantastic value for money and I was back on my way. The car telling me my remaining journey time and approximate battery level on arrival. On the way back clicked onto the energy tab and the car tells you if the wind is effecting the range, uphill comments, miles gained going downhill, extra mileage if going below the speed limit, this car is very clever. And the drive, comfortable, warm steering wheel, warm heated seat and a view on the dashboard of cars, lorries, cones around you. If you are afraid of electric ownership, then a Tesla is ideal, brilliant network, awesome technology and a great looking car. Total cost to fully charge this Tesla is £18.75 using a Home Charger at 0.25p per kWh based on a 75kWh battery and offering a range of up to 331 miles, depending on driving style and battery temperature.
